‘HOW TO DAD’ LEAPS INTO THE WAKATIP

The Birdman is an event that has been part of the Queenstown Winter Fest for years. However, it was getting a bit stale - what did we do? We approached AJ Hackett Bungy to add a little danger to the whole affair, partnering with us on a sponsorship deal.

Clever move, as AJ Hackett is of national interest and therefore converted to media for festival, and for AJ Hackett it meant they were leveraging the event in a way that truly reflected their essence as a company. Much more effective that sticking a tear drop banner up!

We leveraged insta-fame by working the Birdman into How To Dad’s festival experience, meaning this was all over his social channels and was talked about in his stuff.co.nz piece.

Ultimately, AJ Hackett’s share of voice totalled over £209,000.00 with a reach of 22.6 million people. Festival’s Birdman event was catapulted (literally) back into the relevant category, and AJ Hackett got additional cool points.
