Bringing over two decades of hands-on experience in the events industry, with a focus on music festivals and a track record at the Director and Board level, I’m passionate about turning events into destination drivers for local economies, tourism, and the overall enrichment of our lives.

Festival Director for the 2018 & 2019 Queenstown Winter Festivals, taking the event from a rather large red bottom line, to a cost neutral budget. Over 40 events over 4 days, ranging from on Mountain to Lake, Sky to Studio 54 - the Queenstown Winter Festival attracted 90, 000 visitors to Queenstown to open the New Zealand Ski Season.

Event Manager for Bay Dreams, a festival based in the Bay of Plenty for 18,000 revellers.




Contracting to the Chiefs Rugby Club to arrange match entertainment.

Event Manager for the 5000 capacity Queenstown Mardi Gras.



Contracting to Tourism Bay of Plenty, I have a part time Festival Director role for the double award winning Flavours of Plenty Festival which aims to establish the Coastal Bay of Plenty as a respected food destination that that offers more opportunities for one of a kind foodie experiences than in any other region in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Concert Manager for the glorious a flagship Speigeltent within the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, this short and sharp contract took me back to my roots, before the life of consultancy started - and hey, I really, really enjoyed it.

8 years as Head of Entertainment for the Edinburgh University Students Association, where I operated a team of 60 who delivered hundreds of varied events every year within our 13 venues.

Producer (2 years) and Advisor (1 year) for New Zealand’s first e-bike festival held in the beautiful Arrowtown and surrounds.

Rebel Female consultancy undertook some all-important strategy sessions for the Award finalist The Local Wild Food Festival. Setting a vision, a mission, a roadmap and a great session where we took a look at physical tweaks to benefit the event.

Consultancy/ Advisory/ Strategy sessions with a portfolio that includes Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge, Tauranga City Council, Trademark Live Group, Whakatane District Council and many more.


I’ve worked on and produced many, many live music shows ranging from small capacities to stadiums. Live music and concert promotion is my sweet spot.

Event Consultancy work for Rolling Meadows NZ, looking at their overall strategy and opportunities

Volunteering my services to assist the development of a 50th year celebration for the NZ charity.

Assisting the City Development team to add vibrancy in the City of Tauranga, I developed a programme of free events that included opportunities for the local community to get involved, and our local activity providers to benefit.


3 years of being a Mentor for the New Zealand Events Association Mentorship programme. I’ve also mentored through the Ignite programme and through Rebel Female connections (and I love it)

Event Manager for Ben Harper and Matt Corby at the Waitiri Creek venue in Queenstown, capacity 5000.

Co-Creator and Programmer for the Pleasance Sessions, based in Edinburgh City Centre. This urban festival was selected a s finalist in a national award.

Co-Creator and management team for the Strathspey Safari, a roaming festival that took place in the highlands of Scotland and featured on BBC2.

Countless Live gigs of varied sizes, including small intimate gigs to stadium concerts (Red Hot Chili Peppers/ Oasis to name a few.

Strategy sessions undertaken for the Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge who wanted to look at how to shape up their offering in line with their roadmap.

Event Delivery team for the Paradox Street Art Festival in Tauranga which encompassed an Art Gallery Banksy takeover, 9 City Centre murals, a mini film festival and waterfront events.

Over the years I’ve worked on the Event Management team, Media and Box Office teams at T in the Park - Scotland’s 85,000 cap festival, now only existing in our wee happy memories.

A victim of Covid19, but nonetheless - a campaign launch event was created alongside Watson & Wyatt to be hosted at the top of Coronet Peak in launching Queenstown as the premier Adventure destination.

Strategy sessions for Bring People Dancing who raise money for Bipolar Personality Disorder.


Acting as a conduit between the promoter, and the mountain I assisted in facilitating the delivery of the first Snowmachine Queenstown.
